Why a dentist built his own clinic software
In 2016 Dr Kedar told his students what he wanted for his patients. Six Figures is that list, built.
Dr Kedar Bakshi has been in implant practice for 28 years. He is an implantologist and the inventor of OsseoSure, and he runs his own clinic, Sai Smile Dental Care in Vasai East. Six Figures did not start as a product. He built it for that one clinic, where he works every day, to do what he wanted for his own patients.
In 2016, teaching his implant students, he told them what he wanted. A link the patient carries anywhere, with his records in it. His own videos, matched to the treatment, reaching the patient by themselves. His own clinic's name on everything the patient receives. For him, this was simply his clinic's policy of transparency.

Colleagues asked for it
Over the years, colleagues saw what he was doing for his patients, and they kept asking him the same thing: "Doctor, why is all this lying in your computer? Take it out and give it to the rest of us." Six Figures is his answer. It still runs his own clinic, so it is shaped by real days at the chair and at the desk.
That shows in the details. The chart is drawn like an X-ray, because that is how a patient understands his own mouth. The plan comes out of the chart in one tap, with your fees. The patient takes his own page home on WhatsApp. Every message carries your clinic's name. Your data stays in your clinic's own cloud, and the software keeps working when the internet does not. And it works in English, Hindi and Marathi, the languages his patients speak.
