A calm reception: the day runs itself

Someone always in the waiting room, a firm time, a reminder that goes on its own. A calm desk, a calm clinic.

The patient meets your reception before he meets you. If the desk is rushed, he expects a rushed doctor. If it is calm and kind, he relaxes before he sits in the chair. Dr Kedar's first rule for the waiting room is simple: one person is always there, present, polite and listening. And he teaches his staff three small words.

Thank you. Sorry for the small mistake… And the third word is please. — Dr Kedar Bakshi

When the patient arrives, he is welcomed. If the doctor is running fifteen minutes late, he gets an apology at once, never a made-up excuse. The doctor's phone stays on silent, and calls are returned at fixed times in the day. None of this needs money. It needs a routine that does not depend on anyone's memory.

Let the software carry the routine

In Six Figures, the routine runs on its own. On the appointment call, the staff finds the patient by name or number while still talking, and offers the nearest free slot, so the day has no gaps. The confirmation goes on WhatsApp in your clinic's name. Every morning the dashboard lists who to message today, with the reminder and the birthday wish together. Check-in, engage and check-out keep the real waiting time, so you see it instead of guessing.

Even the registration form is part of a calm day. A correct mobile number is how the reminder reaches the patient. The right spelling of his name is respect. Check both, politely, at every visit. When the desk works like this, the doctor stops carrying the day in his head, and gives his full attention to the patient in the chair.
